To celebrate outstanding fire athletes, we created a series of hand-painted custom packaging boxes. Each design recognises the dedication, professionalism and achievements of the firefighters who help showcase our products in action.

BEN SMITH ('24)
Ben was our first featured athlete on fire packaging, going on to win the Auckland Sky Tower climb four years running. A firefighter with Auckland International Airport Fire Rescue, Ben is as modest as he is accomplished.
Ben was our first featured athlete to be used on fire packaging and went on to achieve an incredible four years back to back first place at the Auckland Sky-Tower climb. Ben is a very modest model for such achievements and works as a firefighter in the Auckland International Airport fire rescue team.

Celebrating volunteer firefighter and athlete Jodie Reymer, the 2026 ambassador packaging honours her incredible achievements, including back-to-back NZ championships and records at the Combat World Championships.
The 2026 ambassador packaging celebrates the incredible achievements of volunteer firefighter Jodie Reymer. Representing the Pirongia Brigade and an athlete competing in both skytower and combat challenge, Jodie has multiple wins to her name including back to back NZ champion and records at the combat world championships.

Fire Athletes
The Styx Mill pro athletes are top-class tower climb and combat challenge firefighters who live for pushing endurance boundaries. Wearing the suits by choice, these athletes have achieved records, top rankings in their class or category, or are sponsored through charity support.
Sponsorship applications are reviewed annually in July each year
