Structural Level Two Jacket & Trouser combination fire suit meeting EN 469:2005 and AS/NZS 4967:2009 garment requirements as an ensemble, for structural firefighting. Colour Navy or Tan.

Designed for high-temperature working environments, this ultra-lightweight tropical structural firefighting suit is extremely breathable and mobile. Features include articulated shoulders and knees, elastic expanding trouser waist and super-thin Kevlar trouser scuff pads.

This style is eligible for lifetime care, including totally free repairs, trade-backs, free manufacturer's inspections, and a guaranteed fit at purchase.

EXCELLENT FADE RESISTANCE
- The UV sensitive fibres are woven into the back of the outer shell fabric, protecting them and preventing damage.

BETTER FABRIC COLOUR
- Our fibre is spun dyed, rather than being woven before its dyed. This gives better colour integrity and reduces fade.

HEAT STOPPING OUTER SHELL
- The fire suit outer shell is a unique 3D rib raft design, trapping air like double glazing. Because of this design the fabric can be 25% lighter and yet be stronger and more breathable.

MORE BREATHABLE
- Heat impacts performance. With a breathability RET of 13.2, this garment is game changing for wearer experience. RET is better lower, most suits are around an RET of 30.

NO HARMFUL TREATMENTS
- The garment outer shell is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. No formaldehyde, P-fos, chlorine, nickel or lead content is in the fabric.

NON COMPRESSIBLE LINING
- Unlike silicon dots, the waterproof moisture barrier lining is made with thick aramid ribs that don't wear off, hold their shape and create channels of air that don't compress giving excellent thermal ratings.

NEXT TO SKIN SPORTS FABRIC
- By using a high wicking sports style FR viscose, sweat is quickly wicked off the skin through the suit layers, rather than being absorbed in a tick wadding of fabric.

CUFF AND KNEE PROTECTION
- Jacket sleeves use a recessed cuff with a wristband made from a double layer woven knit. This holds its shape on the wrist and gives exceptional comfort.
- Trousers have a 9mm Nomex neoprene 'wetsuit' fabric inside, giving unparalleled impact protection.

INCREDIBLE HEAT TRANSFER
- Standard AS 4967:2019 states that in 13.5 seconds of contact with a 260 degree hotplate, the temperature within the suit must not rise more that 24 degrees.
Our ratings were 55 seconds at the knee and 45 seconds at the shoulder, more than triple the requirements.

FABRIC DETAILS

- Outer shell. Double-faced weave of para-aramid blend, 98% aramid / 2% antistatic; 220g/m2. colour Navy or Tan.
- Moisture barrier. 100% aramid non-woven laminated on ePTFE membrane 200g/m2. colour white.
- Liner. Woven next to skin fabric, aramid & lensing FR blend, 90g/m2, colour navy.
- Cuffing. FR rib knit cuff made from an aramid & viscose blend with 3% antistatic. Colour black.
- Neck lining. FR interlock knit fabric in a O-PAN, para-aramid and FR rayon blend, 205g/m2. Colour grey.
- Internal knee padding. FR treated neoprene with polyester liner and strong pad aramid face. 6.4mm thick. Colour black.
- Knee scuff pads. Blend of Kevlar and non-woven FR PVC, thickness 1.4mm, weight 635gsm, colour black.
- Reflective. 3M™ Scotchlite™, 76.2mm (3"), meets EN 469, colour yellow/silver/yellow triple trim.

sizing & fit

All measurements are taken by the user pulling on a polycotton jacket and trouser demonstrator suit that matches the garment inner sizing and outer arm/leg length.

Custom variations can be made to arm length and leg length in cm or inches, added or subtracted as required for wearer personal experience.

Styx Mill can visit to assist with garment sizing, or courier a suitcase with all the sizing demonstrator garments.

CARE INFORMATION

All garments have an internal label including care instructions, re-certification dates, GS1 barcode, user name and serial number.

Styx Mill has a standard 36 month warranty and an additional Lifetime Care warranty package, including free inspections, online records, free repairs and a garment trade programme.

All repairs are undertaken at our manufacturing base in Christchurch New Zealand
